Jill Freeman

Jill Freeman is a qualified Sonographer and has been working in ultrasound for over twenty years.She holds the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, The Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, the MSc in Medical Imaging and the Certificate in Nuchal Translucency Scanning issued by the fetal medicine foundation.

She has gained years of experience in the ultrasound field and is specialised in several clinical areas of ultrasound including obstetric, gynaecological and abdominal ultrasound. She has also worked closely with the  Aloka ultrasound manufacturer in demonstrating and commissioning ultrasound equipment.
                            
Jill now works independently for both the NHS and private sectors. She was the Superintendent Sonographer at both Kings College Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Whilst at Kings she was involved in several research projects working closely with Kypros Nicolides of the Harris Birthright centre.

Jill has an active interest in all aspects of ultrasound and keeps updated by regular attendance at courses, being a member of the British Ultrasound Society and the United Kingdom Association of Sonographers. She also lectures on and teaches the clinical aspects of various ultrasound topics.
