Claire Vits holds a BSc (Hons 1st class) in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University. During her training she completed a clinical placement in Beijing working in both the acupuncture and herbal medicine departments of the Xiyan Hospital and the acupuncture department of the Zhongri Hospital.
She received first class honours and a prize for excellence in the study of Chinese medicine. She now works offering Chinese medical support to patients at the Womens Ultrasound Centre she is a registered member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) and the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
Claire also holds and advanced diploma in Tuina (Chinese Massage Therapy) and her training involved work on a pioneering scheme offering acupuncture services on the labour ward at the Whittington Hospital.
Claire’s main areas of interest are the use of Chinese medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also has a keen interest in the use of acupuncture in assisted fertility.
